I am looking for a slip of an old house plant my Grandmother had. She called it a shrimp plant. It had elongated flowers that looked like a shrimp.

Linda, the shrimp plant is known here as Justicia Brandegeana (syn. Beloperone guttata, Drejerella guttata). It is an evergreen rounded shrub, intermittently, but mainly in summer, producing white flowers surrounded by shrimp-pink bracts.
If there are humming birds in your area, it is a humming bird magnet!
