African Violets (Saintpaulia) need in the summer a place in the half shade or shade, not in the full sun! In the winter they need much light but also no full sun.
 African Violets must stand in a warm place, the temperature must not fall under 16 degrees Celsius.
 The ground must be nutritious and the best ground is a mixture of loam, peat and sand.
