"My crocus bulbs arrived to late to plant outside ...."
Can you not plant them outside because the ground is frozen or do you just think it's too late? If the ground isn't frozen you can still plant them outside until December, they'll just flower later. Otherwise plant them in pots and keep them in a cool area then plant them outside either in spring when they're still green or let the foliage die and plant them in autumn. Make sure you keep them fairly dry during summer though or they'll rot.
