To make pineapple bloom in spring, place a dark plastic bag over the entire plant for about three weeks checking in every other day for water, etc. In about three weeks you will see the bloom start to develop. Remove the bag and water as normal. The bloom will develop into a full large fruit in about 6 months. Harvest and enjoy.
