I have started cuttings
from several plants by using a rooting hormone I purchased from
the local nursery. It's very easy to do most annuals and some house
plants. Just make your cut, dip the cut in the hormone and put it
in the dirt. Make sure it is watered and not in too hot an area
in the beginning. I also give it a good quality liquid fertilizer
about 2 weeks later.

Bushes
can be replanted. After digging them up put them
in a larger pot that has drainage and with extra soil. Also cut them
back. They will go through a big shock. Just remeber to water well
and often. Plants in pots tend to dry out often than if they were
in the ground. Feed them wont hurt them either. Just follow the directions
and don't over fertilize.
