Coffee gronds are great for heavy, or clayish soil as they help break it up. It can also be used a in the compost pile for the same reason.

The little yellow beads are normal in the Miracle Grow dirt. They are capsules that are released to help the plant grow. They work well, especially in house plants. So, don't worry, your plants will do great.

I start my tomatoe plants day the same way I start my day. Coffee, milk and eggs. For the plants I throw my coffee grounds and the egg shells and some left over milk or powder milk and a few kind words and it works.

My Daddy always threw coffee grinds out over our garden, and my Grandfather added them to his compost pile daily. He said they helped keep his soil loose.

The best way to improve the clay ground of a garden is to drain it, but that is very complicated. A simpler way is to dig the clay well and mix it, for example, with sand, so that you'll improve the ground structure.

When you make a terrace on the clay then it's best to make a drain to the rain water drain on the lowest place of the terrace. If that's to difficult you can make a drain to a hole filled with gravel also of course on the lowest place of the terrace.

A plant feed such as Miracle Grow contains elements that function like vitamins do for humans. Sometimes your diet needs 'boosting', for example in winter, when there is less sun, some additional vitamin C (oranges) can give you a bit more energy. Plants can grow for years in the same pot or in the same spot in the garden. The plant will use up the food in the ground which plant feed such as Miracle Grow will help put back. Water (H2O) contains the elements hydrogen en oxygen, very important to plants, but not enough to live on. So our guess is that a plant will grow stronger and healthier with an extra feed and water.

Some plants grow best in sandy soil others in clay ground. Depending on the plant, different types of fertilizer can make a great deal of difference to the growth.
