| Emerald Green Arborvitae | |
| alison from us asks: | I planted 20 emerald green arborvitae last year. Each one had some damage during transport, such as broken twigs and some bare spaces towards the bottom of the plant. Will the plant with time and proper care fill back in and look uniformly full? |
| Pete Papetti from U.S.A. asks: | I have a row of Emerald Green Arborvitae and two of them seem to die about every two years or less. I have tried different fertilizers and bug sprays,nothing works. The bushes on either side of them seem to be doing fine. they have been replaced 2 times with new bushes and they have died too. what can I do to stop them from dying? |

| Beth Evers from USA asks: | We just installed a hot tub and bought 4 emerald green arborvitae for screening in front of it. I purchased them at a clearance sale at Lowe`s and due to it being July, should I plant them now or wait until the fall? Also, if I need to wait until the fall, how should I care for them in the meantime? Can I leave them in the black plastic pots they came in? |
| Green Zeus says : | VERY stressful to plant trees in July!!!! I even hate to plant trees in spring--and lots of nurseries only offer, the tree you want, in spring. The best,best time to plant trees is fall. Sept. is best because this gives the tree a little time to grow some roots and uptake water so it can make it thru winter. |
